Dear Hills - I Pray For Clarity
Dear Hills is unlike almost anything I’ve ever heard, let alone worked with. Featuring banjo and acoustic guitar with various percussion elements in all songs, Dear Hills managed to create an atmosphere that’s both joyous and melancholic for a full 45 minute running time. It was an amazing experience for me to work on such complex and intricate music in an acoustic context!
Sleep All Summer - Every Time
Sleep All Summer is a young alternative rock band from Vermont, driven by big strumming acoustic guitars and anthemic vocals. Fun stuff! I recorded drums, acoustic guitar, and vocals, and mixed their 2015 debut “Hibernator”. This song is a great example of an artist on a budget recording the most crucial parts of a record in a professional setting, while recording some of the auxiliary instruments themselves.
Dear Hills - Stomp, Trudge
Stone Healer - The Scythe In My Heart
This acoustic track is off my solo record that I released under the moniker Stone Healer in August of 2015. The guitars are meant to feel jangly and jagged, complimenting the full and transparent vocal tone. Stripped down and very bare, I love working with singer/songwriter acoustic music of this nature!
